IMPAC5 Ocean Festival Schools Day
We invite all interested teachers and students (Grades 5 to 8) in the Metro Vancouver area to join us, Friday February 3rd, for the Fifth International Marine Protected Areas Congress (IMPAC5) Ocean Festival Schools Day at the Vancouver Convention Centre (Jack Poole Plaza).
This 3-hour interdisciplinary learning experience supports global citizenship, reconciliation, and sustainability education through hands-on activities by Canada’s leading ocean educators!
*Spaces are limited, schools will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Participating classes will experience:
*Only some of the activity stations will have bilingual educators; otherwise facilitation will be in English.

Although the February 3rd Schools Day is full, you can still join us on February 4th! All families and public welcome.

Morning Time Slot:
9:30-9:40: Arrival at Vancouver Convention Centre

9:55 -11:55: Ocean Learning Activations
(5 station rotation)
12:00 to 12:40: Jellyfish Project concert
12:45: Depart VCC, return to school

11:45: Arrival at Vancouver Convention Centre

11:50: Welcome

12:45 -2:45: Ocean Learning Activations
(5 station rotation)
2:50: Depart VCC, return to school
